Control Systems Commissioning and Operations Support for the Tunnel Boring Machine. This machine was specifically designed to be the first to be used in underground coal operations for the development of 2 drift access for the green field site of Grosvenor.
Tasks undertaken by Industry Group Services included:
- Change management coordination
- Reporting of PLC control systems
- Commissioning of the Dolly retreat system for the removal of the TBM from the Drifts and the control systems commissioning of the TBM for entry into the 2nd Drift.
- Managed the design, installation, commissioning and ongoing operation of a remote isolation system specifically designed for the TBMs tunnel conveyor.
